Nina Agelvis is a first year MFA Graduate Lighting Design student, in the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music. She graduated from the Universityr of California, Irvine with a BA in Drama and Honors in Lighting Design. Having been raised playing harp, she was always keen on shifts in music, mood, and how bonds can affect emotions of performers and audiences. She has learned that light can transform and transport audiences into a wold of wonder, much like music and art is able to do. She has been a Lighting Designer for 16 shows and counting, including: Undergraduate Director Projects, Independent Projects, Dance Theses, Dance Shows, art installations, and dramatic works. She has worked as an electrician for the South Coast Repertory Theater and as a Master Electrician for the Oklahoma Shakespearean Festival.
